I moved from a different state to Michigan at 30 weeks pregnant. Heidi helped us navigate medical providers and helped familiarize us to the area. Heidi also offered extensive benefits to us beyond her presence during our labor, although her presence during my labor was very impactful. She helped empower myself and my husband to fully engage in the labor process. She also was fully supportive with various coping techniques and encouragement for a very long (30 hour) labor. She has a separate section of her website FULL of resources and information, which was so helpful in the sea of confusing and conflicting internet information. She also answered all of my many questions and was thorough, patient and evidenced-based in providing answers for me. Her visits to my home both before and after labor were comforting and reassuring and again gave me the space I needed to ask many questions. Heidi is also generous in her time and in her resources and never made me feel like I was bothering her or a burden in any way. I also had some questions about oral ties postpartum and she answered those and also referred me for additional support. Heidi’s services and her kindness made a significant difference in my pregnancy and postpartum experience”

Working with Cosette was a dream come true. This was my second birth, and it was everything we prayed for and more. We had a unique challenge— I wanted to deliver at Zeeland Hospital, where I had my first baby— However, we had moved a bit further away to a new town where we would now need to drive 45 minutes in order to deliver at Zeeland Hospital. My goal was to deliver baby unmedicated, and labor at home as long as possible. So I knew having a doula would be extremely helpful, and give me confidence where I felt unsure or overwhelmed. Cosette came alongside me with 100% faith that I could do this, helped create a game plan, and always encouraged me when I doubted. She went above and beyond in blessing us… making healthy treats, answering texts quickly, and providing amazing resources for different topics related to our birth plan. I had prodromal labor for two weeks and was daily communicating with Cosette. She gave me great support during that time and helped with positioning. Once labor was truly happening, she helped us discern when to leave for the hospital, and I’m so grateful because we arrived and baby was born one hour later! I delivered unmedicated and it was an extremely positive birth— especially given the long drive and the quick turn around once at the hospital. Thanks to Cosette, she kept our room peaceful, advocated for all of my wishes, and took the brunt of everything so I could deliver well. It was amazing. She kept my eyes on Jesus the whole way through. I can’t recommend this team enough!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Heidi. She was such a gift to us throughout our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.
I didn’t have a doula with my first birth, so I went into this second birth knowing I wanted that support… and I can honestly say the experience was so much smoother this time. I truly believe so much of that was because of Heidi’s guidance and support.
During pregnancy, Heidi provided us with so many helpful, evidence-based resources, especially as we navigated a few medical unknowns during our baby’s scans. She was very supportive of our plan for a hospital birth + an unmedicated labor. I also really appreciated that her doula care is faith-centered.
I had a few weeks of prodromal labor, and Heidi never once made me feel like a burden, even on the late nights when I would text with questions. She was always kind, encouraging, and reassuring.
Our birth progressed much more quickly than we expected, but I am so incredibly grateful that Heidi was there. Her physical support and emotional encouragement during birth were invaluable to me. She continued to be such a support after birth as well, and I felt so cared for throughout the entire experience.
If you are looking for a doula in the area, I truly cannot recommend Heidi enough. She was everything I could have asked for in a doula, and I feel so thankful that she was part of such an important season for our family.

Cosette was an extremely helpful and calming presence and was with me every step of the way during my long and arduous labor with my first son! She brought so much knowledge that helped me achieve the vaginal birth I desired. I truly believe that without Cosette I would have ended up having a C Section, which was one of my greatest fears surrounding my birthing experience. My birth experience did not go to plan due to early membrane rupture, but Cosette was there to help me stay positive, pivot, and to advocate for my needs to the hospital staff and ask the hard questions I wasn’t in the headspace to ask or didn’t even know I needed to ask. Above all, Cosette always made sure to remind me that Our Heavenly Father made my body for this experience and that He was with me every step of the way. She prayed for me, and kept me present with Jesus when I struggled.

After the birth, Cosette also helped me with post partum services and it was really nice to have her around to chat, help with baby, and she made some seriously amazing protein muffins!!! Highly recommend Cosette, she was truly amazing and I am so grateful I had her by my side for the birth of my son.
